Rat Cage Large

These rat enclosures are designed and made by The Mouse House as a much cheaper option for their size. Rats need plenty of space as they are very active animals. The enclosures are light, easy to move around, chew proof (No exposed wood to chew through, all mesh is internal). They are also mouse proof.

A setup includes a shelf, some food, a hemp climbing rope, bowls, hay house, chew wood, slide out trays in the base, and 1kg shale as pictured.

These enclosures have a very basic setup. We try to keep things fairly natural. You will need to add at least a couple of hammocks, climbing toys, and a wheel.
